Founder Vibes: Retrospective on October - a BIG month for dcoded
As I look back on October, I can genuinely say it was a month of transformation, excitement, and record-breaking achievements. October marked our biggest month to date at dcoded - a true milestone in sales (total and individual placement size), placements, and record-high interviews. But beyond the numbers, it was a month that reinforced our goals, tested our resolve, and set the foundation for an incredible finish to 2024.
We experienced some change in our team this month, with one of our colleagues moving on. This was tough. We're good friends on the outside. But while transitions are never easy, the team has handled it with professionalism and resilience.
October wasn’t just about navigating change... it was about seizing every opportunity that came our way. We set records across almost every metric: most interviews secured, the highest number of job offers extended, highest amount of contractor runners. These achievements are more than just numbers; they’re a testament to the grit and drive of a small team that’s achieving big things.
One of the most exciting developments this month was finally launching our website. It’s more than just a URL to me. It’s our digital storefront - a digital footprint... a stake in the ground - WE ARE DCODED, and we are here! Its our brand in action, and our values made visible. For a company that prides itself on mission and purpose, having a website that reflects that is invaluable. It gives clients, candidates, and prospective partners a clear window into who we are, what we stand for, and how we operate. The website is also a cornerstone for our brand as we continue building our reputation as a purpose-driven recruitment firm.
Looking ahead, October has given us serious momentum as we enter Q4. This month, we’ll be sitting down for our 2025 budget meeting - its an opportunity to lay the groundwork for what’s shaping up to be an ambitious year. From B Corp certification to growing our team and reaching exciting new milestones, we have big plans on the horizon. A major focus right now is recruiting someone to grow and own our contract division, which is key to our expansion plans. We’re also gearing up to welcome new associates in January 2025 to drive further growth and bring more value to our clients (& future clients) and candidates.
